2025

We are planning a collaborative project for our 2025 festival based around the theme ‘Rivers’. The rivers of the Clun Valley are being severely impacted by climate change; we wish to raise more awareness through various artistic events which we will present in May of 2025.

Local visual artist and environmental activist Robert Cunning will curate an exhibition on the theme, featuring local artists working with many different materials. While the exhibition is running, Clun Valley Music will present multiple concerts at various venues: St George’s Church Clun, St Cuthbert’s Church Clungunford, and alongside the art installations themselves (an outdoor event near Newcastle, directly next to the river Clun.) The concerts will feature a newly commissioned work by the dynamic composer Florence Anna Maunders, alongside various river-themed classical works.

Details of these events are currently being put together, please watch this space!
